Former Goodman Tavendale Reid partner, David Goodman, has joined
Anderson Lloyd Lawyers as a partner owner in the firm's Christchurch office.
Goodman brings with him more than 25 years of expertise in the water, agribusiness, fisheries, construction, technology and health industries and is particularly recognised for his knowledge regarding the irrigation sector. He also advises regularly in relation to mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, insolvencies, corporate restructurings and commercial contracts.
“I am impressed by the culture and collegiality at Anderson Lloyd and am excited by new opportunities in the water and infrastructure industries,” said Goodman.
“A significant part of my practise is water and agribusiness, which dovetails well with Anderson Lloyd’s resource management expertise.”
After being admitted to the Bar in 1988, Goodman’s career has been based in Christchurch, Wellington and London. While in the United Kingdom he completed a Masters in Company and Commercial Law at the University of London.
Goodman is a member of the Institute of Directors and the Canterbury Business Leaders Group and regularly presents seminars to industry groups on governance, company and commercial law.
