Online nominations are open with several categories open to NZ firms and in-house teams

Australasian Law Awards: Categories to enter
Nominations opened last week for the Australasian Law Awards, returning to The Star Sydney on 18 May 2017.
 
This year, several categories are open for entry to New Zealand firms:
 
Corporate Citizen Firm of the Year – Recognises the most outstanding law firm in Australia and New Zealand based on its sustainability, community and CSR initiatives
 
Employee Health & Wellbeing Award – Recognises the most outstanding law firm in Australia and New Zealand based on its employee health and wellbeing initiatives
 
NZ Deal Firm of the Year – Recognises the most outstanding law firm in New Zealand based on overall firm involvement in major deals
 
NZ Dealmaker of the Year – Recognises the most outstanding lawyer in New Zealand based on involvement in major deals 
 
In addition, New Zealand firms that have completed significant deals involving one or more Australian companies can also put these forward in the deal categories.
 
In-house legal departments in New Zealand are also encouraged to submit a nomination for the New Zealand In-house Team of the Year category.
