Hornabrook Macdonald Lawyers has promoted a new associate and senior lawyer in its ranks, reported the New Zealand Law Society.

The promotions beef up the firm’s property and commercial teams.

Sarah Reid has been elevated to associate after four years with the firm. She works with the property team, representing the vendors and purchasers of both residential and commercial property as well as handling matters related to residential and commercial subdivisions.

She is an associate member of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives and of the New Zealand Law Society’s Property Law Section.

Henry Watts has been promoted to senior lawyer. He commenced with Hornabrook Macdonald as a graduate two years previously, and his practice focuses on commercial matters, including corporate governance, contract drafting and commercial leasing.

He has also tackled issues involving incorporated societies, unit titles and residential conveyancing.
