New appointments bolster boutiques

New appointments have bolstered boutique firms The Firm Lawyers and Morgan Coakle, reported the NZ Law Society.

Tauranga-headquartered The Firm Lawyers brought in Katherine Dentice as a senior solicitor last week. Based in the Bay of Plenty, she has six years of practising experience.

She focused on property development and finance matters. In her current role with The Firm, she will advise families and young professionals.

Promotions at Morgan Coakle

Auckland firm Morgan Coakle recently promoted Lauren Aspin and Niccola Davies to associates.

Aspin commenced with the firm in 2019. She focuses on family law, particularly complex relationship property and trust disputes, parenting matters and asset protection.

She has tackled civil litigation, notably those involving professional indemnity. Aspin has acted for clients in the Family Court and High Court, as well as at mediations. She has received training in collaborative resolution.

Davies became part of Morgan Coakle in 2022. She has concentrated on family law since her admission to the bar in 2017, and has a particular interest in emerging areas of relationship property and trust law.

She has led annual te Wiki o te Reo Māori activities, and is presently learning te Reo Māori.
