Seasoned lawyer joins workplace law-focused firm

Bartlett Law has attracted a seasoned lawyer to the fold.

Carolyn Heaton has joined the Wellington-based workplace law specialist boutique as a special counsel.

She moved from Northland firm Morrison Kent, where she worked for more than two decades, most recently as a partner.

She brings to the firm 25 years’ experience and expertise in employment law and dispute resolution. She regularly acts in employment disputes and mediations.

Heaton also has extensive experience acting on matters before disciplinary tribunals, the Employment Relations Authority, the Employment Court, the District Court, and the High Court.
