An Otago commercial law specialist firm has appointed a new partner.

Webb Farry has promoted Larna Jensen-McCloy to partner from associate. She heads the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution team.

The Dunedin-native began her legal career at Webb Farry in 2005, moving from other law firms in Invercargill and Dunedin.

“Larna is a highly regarded litigator with particular expertise in complex relationship property matters involving trust and company assets, claims against trusts and estates and in her general civil litigation,” said David Ehlers, chairman of partners.

“Larna’s expertise in relation to the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act (PPPR) is well recognised and she presents seminars to professionals including medical practitioners and other lawyers,” he said. “Larna holds various court appointed roles and is a strong advocate for those she represents. Already an established senior leader in our litigation team, we are excited to acknowledge her strength across all areas of litigation practice by this elevation to partner.”

Webb Farry now has four partners.
