The new senior associates have extensive expertise in employment law
LangtonHudsonButcher has elevated associates Emma Crowley and Jess Greenheld to senior associate, reported the New Zealand Law Society.
Crowley specialises in human resources and employment law. She assists clients with both contentious and non-contentious employment related issues, with a particular interest in litigation matters affecting provisions of the Accident Compensation Act 2001.
Prior to joining LangtonHudsonButcher in 2017, she worked as a human resources staff at Baldwins (now operating under the AJ Park banner) in Auckland for more than seven years.
An employment law specialist for almost seven years, Greenheld advises clients on a wide range of employment matters, including employment and services agreements, disciplinary processes, personal grievances, redundancy, and restructuring. She regularly appears before the Employment Relations Authority, and provides mediation services to parties in employment disputes.
She has a particular interest in emerging employment issues such as the impact of employees’ social media use on the employment relationship, and the “right to disconnect” from the workplace after business hours.
She joined LangtonHudsonButcher in 2021 after more than two years as an associate at Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP in London.
