The independent firm advised Da Xie, who has purchased the property from tycoon John Beville, for $163m. The Beville Group was represented by KHQ Lawyers.

The seven-storey office tower at 509 St Kilda Road offers 19,500sqm net lettable area and 325 car-parking bays. It is fully leased to tenants that include Fuji, the Australian government, and AIA Insurance.

The deal is the single largest transaction to have taken place on St Kilda Rd, Thomson Geer said.
