Gilchrist Connell promotes even dozen

Gilchrist Connell has promoted 12 lawyers to special counsel, senior associates and associates.

The four new special counsel are:

Kate Kellendonk (Perth) concentrates on matters involving public liability, workers’ compensation/employers’ liability, and industrial diseases.

Most Read

Jade Wishart (Perth) focuses on professional indemnity and financial lines.

Myles Bryant (Sydney) specialises in public liability claims, including personal injury and property damage.

James Reid (Sydney): James has led the defence of public liability and professional indemnity claims, particularly those involving solicitors, medical professionals and real estate agents.

The new senior associates are:

Isabella Fyfe (Melbourne) is a litigator focusing on liability claims and coverage matters, representing insurers and self-insureds in personal injury cases.

Naomi Schlaepfer (Perth) has tackled insurance litigation, and is an expert on professional indemnity matters and subrogated recoveries.

Claudio Trovato (Sydney) has handled professional negligence and casualty matters, representing insured and self-insured entities. He has worked on solicitors’ professional indemnity, health, liability, and complex recoveries.

Linda Zeng (Sydney) has advised on professional indemnity, particularly in coverage aspects and in relation to the defence of cyber and technology claims.

 (Sydney) has worked on the coverage and defence of professional indemnity claims. She is an expert in cyber and technology-related matters.

The following were elevated to associate:

  • Henry Baker (Adelaide)
  • Gabrielle Inga (Perth)
  • Caspar Hawke (Sydney)

The promotions took effect on 1 July. Lotta Noel (Perth) and Jacob Redden (Brisbane) were also elevated to principal.
