Hall & Wilcox has assisted ASX200 lister Arena REIT with a capital raising and its acquisition of a portfolio of six early learning centre (ELC) properties.

The $120m institutional placement was fully co-underwritten by Macquarie Capital and Jefferies. The equity raising also featured a $20m securities purchase plan.

The funds will be used to finance the ELC asset acquisition and potential development asset acquisitions. The capital is also earmarked to support pipeline growth.
