The financial services law expert joins the AIA Australia executive team as GC
In-house financial services lawyer Grant Jones has joined AIA Australia as its new GC.
Jonea makes the jump from MLC Life Insurance, where he was GC for nearly 10 years.
“The opportunity to join AIA Australia and make a difference was compelling and I am happy to be part of the team. While the life and health insurance industries continue to evolve significantly, what doesn’t change is the important role we play in ensuring that Australians have certainty and peace of mind for the future”, he said.
Jones brings more than two decades of experience as a senior lawyer and executive in the financial services space. He obtained degrees from Macquarie University, the Australian National University and Harvard Law School.
“Grant’s extensive experience in the financial services industry, including his pivotal work in the customer and regulatory spaces make him an important new member of the AIA Australia executive team”, AIA Australia CEO Damien Mu said.
Jones operates from AIA Australia’s Sydney office.
