83% of the promotions are of female lawyers
DLA Piper has bolstered its special counsel and senior associate ranks with new promotions.
“These promotions are a major career milestone and recognise the hard work and commitment of each individual. This year, 83% per cent of our senior lawyer promotions are female, demonstrating our strong talent pipeline”, Australia managing partner Amber Matthews said.

- Edwin Kwok (corporate, Sydney)
- Jack McCormack (real estate, Sydney)
- Jess McKenna (IPT, Sydney)
- Lisa Huynh (finance, Brisbane)
- Paul Bonjour (employment, Sydney)
Earlier this year, Sarah Wilson and Cate Martin made partner at the firm. Across its global offices, DLA Piper promoted a total of 219 lawyers to senior roles.
