Promotions boost DLA Piper's senior ranks

DLA Piper has bolstered its special counsel and senior associate ranks with new promotions.

“These promotions are a major career milestone and recognise the hard work and commitment of each individual. This year, 83% per cent of our senior lawyer promotions are female, demonstrating our strong talent pipeline”, Australia managing partner Amber Matthews said.

Earlier this year, Sarah Wilson and Cate Martin made partner at the firm. Across its global offices, DLA Piper promoted a total of 219 lawyers to senior roles.
