Three promoted to principal in Russell Kennedy round

Three have been promoted to principal in Russell Kennedy’s mid-year promotions round.

Elizabeth Flanagan is based in Melbourne and works mainly with local government clients. On prosecutions and enforcement in the Magistrates’ Court, the Building Appeals Board, and VCAT.

Kate Littlewood is part of the corporate and commercial team in Sydney. She focuses on M&A, business structuring (including succession), renewable energy, and commercial contracts. She has also tackled matters related to consumer law, IP and corporate governance.

Mandi Xu is a member of the workplace relations, employment, and safety team in Sydney. She has guided multinational and Australian businesses as well as public sector employers on both contentious and non-contentious matters related to employment law and workplace relations.

At present, 52% of Russell Kennedy’s 50 principals are women. The addition of James Lofting and David Vochheimer as lateral hires this month will result in a 50/50 gender split.

All the promotions took effect on 1 July.
