Eliza Danby and Leanne Olden make partner while Melanie Hunter was elevated to legal director
Eliza Danby, Leanne Olden and Melanie Hunter were part of the cohort of lawyers who were elevated in Pinsent Masons’ global promotions cycle.
Danby and Olden made partner, while Hunter was promoted to legal director.
Danby practises with the firm’s construction advisory and disputes team in Melbourne. She has tackled contentious matters arising from major projects in the infrastructure sector.
Also based in Melbourne, Olden works with the finance and projects team. She concentrates on transactional matters and project delivery, working with domestic and international clients at both the developer and contractor level. She has worked across the energy, renewable energy, water and major infrastructure projects sectors.
Danby and Olden will officially step into their new roles on 1 May.
Hunter operates from Sydney, working with the firm’s finance and projects team. The banking and finance lawyer is an expert in real estate who has handled matters involving property financing, land acquisition and development and construction funding.
“The fact that 54% of our new partners are women is a reflection of our efforts to ensure that any barriers to female progression are mitigated and that the partnership is a viable route for all who want to pursue it”, senior partner Andrew Masraf said of the promotions.
