For the 2024 batch of Australasian Lawyer’s Rising Stars, it’s about making a difference where they are in the best way they can.

“My goal is for an empowered community where my role becomes redundant. I hope my children and my children’s children can grow up in a world where Australia recognises them, values them and respects their rights and culture”, says Rising Star Neane Carter, who is part of Terri Janke and Company

Meanwhile, Maddocks’ Katie Pryor sees pro bono work as a priority.

“I hope to look back on a career in which I’ve developed enduring relationships with my clients and colleagues and have helped to mentor the next generation of IP lawyers”, she says.

Carter and Pryor are joined by illustrious company in Alyssa Royters, Brenton Lam, Jenny Lo, Rebecca Petroff and Vicki Howe.
