Maddocks adopts lawyer-specific diagramming tool

Maddocks has adopted the Jigsaw digital diagramming tool developed especially for lawyers.

The tool enables users to craft visuals aiding in the explanation of complex legal matters. The rollout of the tool is also intended to bolster staff members’ digital capabilities.

Matter diagrams that can created via Jigsaw include corporate structures and process flows. The tool also has a timeline module to facilitate the visualisation of previous and upcoming events; moreover, the data can be adjusted and tracked throughout the matter’s lifetime.

"We are continually looking for ways to improve how we tailor advice to our clients. Diagrams and timelines are a great way to explain complex issues or set out the next steps for a matter”, explained Mitch Grant, director of operational excellence at Maddocks.

The use of the tool, he added, also ensures that the firm’s lawyers “have consistent branding and styles in the product that we deliver to our clients”.
