Moray & Agnew has elevated 17 to senior roles to kick off 2025 – including a new partner in Vanessa Parkins.

Parkins hails from the firm’s government team in Canberra. She has handled personal injury litigation for 15 years and acted for Commonwealth agencies on general matters and merit review matters.

The firm also promoted three to special counsel:

  • Melissa Kincaid (Melbourne) – commercial litigation
  • Gary King (Brisbane) – public liability insurance
  • Josh McDiarmid (Cairns) – construction and projects

A total of 13 joined the roster of senior associates:

  • Jackson Clarence (Newcastle) – motor vehicle insurance
  • Joseph Everdell (Canberra) – government
  • Lauren Hancock (Sydney) – motor vehicle insurance
  • Victoria Jamieson (Canberra) – public liability insurance
  • Julian Minter (Melbourne) – commercial litigation
  • Joshua Murgatroyd (Newcastle) – construction and projects
  • Ishan Patel (Melbourne) – owners corporation
  • Estelle Sarra (Melbourne) – employment
  • Jesse Thomson (Sydney) – life insurance
  • Cherrie Tippet (Sydney) – workers compensation
  • Emilie van Baalen (Melbourne) – corporate and commercial
  • Emma Wallace (Sydney) – motor vehicle insurance
  • Jordan Widjaya (Sydney) – motor vehicle insurance
